“Forum-Nexus was created to provide university students with a forum for the exchange of ideas about the economic, political, cultural, and business landscape in Europe,” explained Dr. Hugo Hervitz, Executive Director of Forum-Nexus Study Abroad. “At the same time, the programs were meant to build a nexus between students from around the globe, world-renowned professors, and European executives at international organizations.”
Students who cannot attend the full month-long program may participate in one of Forum-Nexus’ intensive sessions, which last between two and three weeks. During the Forum-Nexus program, students will be housed in 4-star hotels, and will attend classes at host universities in Europe. The program itinerary includes professional visits to global companies and international organizations, such as the European headquarters of the United Nations in Switzerland.
“We are absolutely thrilled to celebrate our 25th year of summer programs with our summer 2015 program,” stated Carlos Treviño, Director of Admissions and Operations for Forum-Nexus. “Each year, our program attracts more and more students from a wider variety of nations, furthering our mission to educate and promote cultural diversity, and creating an even more wonderful experience for the students.”
Forum-Nexus offers courses in business, economics, communication, political science, marketing, and the social sciences. Course credits are issued by one of three European institutions that partner with Forum-Nexus, depending on the preference of each student’s home university. Summer internships with Forum-Nexus are also available.
