In preparation for our 2019 summer study abroad programs, we’re featuring each destination of our itineraries here on our blog! First in our Summer in Europe programs was Barcelona, Spain. Now, we’re onto stop #2: Paris!
Paris, France – the “City of Light” – is an iconic destination of our summer program in Europe. During our 4 days in Paris, you’ll have the chance to stroll along the Seine River (or take a nighttime river cruise!), shop on the Champs Élysées, climb to the top of the Eiffel Tower, or visit the famous Louvre Museum.
As the capital city of France, the official language in Paris is French. The Euro is the local currency. ATMs are easy to find and we recommend having a credit card available to use as well.
The metro is the most convenient way to get around the city. Our hotel is located nearby the Place de Clichy metro station. You’ll also be able to get around by bus, taxi, or on foot.
